SPEED & RUNNING FORM

Speed & Running Form is an hour class that focuses on Speed & Running Form. We break running into 4 parts and attack 1 or 2 of these four phases every class. the four phases are 

  • Reactive Speed- this is the ability to respond to a stimulus (ex. ball snap)

  • Start- this is the ability to get the body moving in a given direction from a stationary or moving state 

  • Acceleration- this is the ability to increase speed quickly. We achieve 90% of our maximum speed in 25-30 yards 

  • Maximum Speed- this is the fastest we can move 

Athletes that join this class are looking to take their speed to another level.
